[My Compilation 08]

Err, well, it was a compilation allright

But a little messy one.
Normally, I would give you drawbacks for things like:
Way to many fonts. Use 2-3 dfferen't fonts, not more than that. That rule applies wether its a presentation, movie, flash game/movie web site. THe more the fonts look bad. But since its a compilation I will not give you draw-backs because of that.

However, you have to give us a reason for watching it. Was it your portfolio? Then make it look like that.

And one final tip. When you are about to submit your flash, don't just think, "its unfinished. So they'll have to keep that in mind". You must think "What makes it look unfinished" then fix that and afterwards submit. Its worth it.

Then you don't have to think afterwards that "I should have done that and that, that would give me a better score".

Utterly crap.
It was so bad I'm not even going to bother to tell you what you did wrong or what you could have improved. Start all over again and forget you ever made this flash.
And move on.

Plenty to fix

1. Don't make it long ass, but short and good.
2. Some kind of story, or reason for why they are killin each other, if not then you don't have an ending either.
3. Sync the sound.
4. Less blood. Blood doesn't mean "awh, awesome. Lots of action!", but boring and unnecessary.
5. Don't make things appear nor disappear from nowhere.
6. This should probably be number one. Ask someone else you know of what you need to fix before you post it. Don't come here asking for it afterwards to get mercy because you were humble enough to ask us what needs to be fixed. If you make a feature film, you don't ask the audience in the cinema "well, this is the final movie. Tell me what's wrong with it"!

There are two types of flash that really gets on my nerves.
1. Bad flash.
2. Pointless flash.

There you go. Was this some kind of demo or something? Of how to animate a sprite?
Well, couple of things you need to know apparently.
First, animating sprites is not impressive by any means. Its basic allright? And using sprite shites is nothing to shout huzza for either.
But, one thing I can't say to much, how important it is to use sound in your animations. So I'll give you 5.

I would have give you a 10 if it had a point.
Else, good animation, good use of sound. Good use of sound is rare these days it seems. Never underestimate the power of audio!!
